Ioka beat Sosa in Japan

Press AMB. 27 September- Kazuto Ioka retained his crown 112 pounds of the World Boxing Association defended first Sunday in Osaka.

The Japanese needed to travel the entire route to winning the Argentine challenger Roberto Sosa, cards 119-109, 120-108, 119-109 in favor of the champion that always dominated the actions of the fight.

Although the Argentine Sosa (26-3-1, 14 KO) did everything he had in his power to embarrass the local, to dethrone, he failed to break the rhythm of fight and prevent Ioka shone efficient at short and medium distances.

Ioka (17-1, 10 KO) returns to the ring on Dec. 31 in the traditional evening of New Year’s Eve, when measured in revenge by another Argentine Juan Carlos Reveco, whom he dethroned last June.

Meanwhile, Reveco (36-2, 19 KO) while awaiting the outcome of the fight between Ioka vs. Sosa, Argentina was measured in 10-round bout Venezuelan Breilor Teran whom he defeated 100-90, 99-91, 100-90.
